I am watching you on Rachel Ray right this minute, and boy, do those symptoms sound like me! I am relatively tiny in my arms and legs and just look "pregnant" rather than chunky all over. I expect to be ordering your book soon and to be talking to my doctor about this soon! Thank you.

Congratulations Harriette, I received your email this morning and since i'm at work I'm unable to watch it. Brian is watching from Quaker Hill. He is not working in Pleasantville for McArthurs any more, he is back in Chappaqua. We must get together for dinner soon.

All the best a new door has opened, and hope to see you on TV another time.

Our best wishes on your success.

I just sent your link to my daughter. Boy was this an eye opener. My Mother looked like Humpty Dumpty and now I do and my daughter is following. I have lost 20 lbs since Christmas, but still have the big belly. I was also diagnosed with diabetes, which I never thought I had. I am no longer on medication for diabetes. I have 100% more energy and feel good, but I still look like humpty dumpty. Thank you for this show.

at this time i am without insurance but feel as though this 'syndrome w' fits me to a T. my question to you, is there any harm in following the diet without being diagnosed? i have started exercising but feel it will not be the answer alone. i have gained some weight in my arms and legs but the middle area is out of control! please any advise, suggestions, ideas, ect...... would be greatly appreciated. thank you, rebecca

Just watched you on Rachel Ray. Found your website and read that. Would you post an example of daily meal planning for this "new way of eating"? Thanks.

I am currently on a diet to lose weight and am in my early 60's; i have been diagnosed diabetic and have been on metformin for a long time. When I am due for my next routine labs, I will ask for this test to be run and I will start on this diet for sure... I have this shape and have not been able to take off weight for years... this could be the solution for me...

Hi Dr. Mogul,
I found your interview with Rachael to be very interesting. I am not sure if I have this problem. I am 35 years old with 2 small children. I am having trouble losing the baby weight, but the question is, am I really trying. Would this diet be helpful to someone like me? I know it's generally for women over 40, but I am not far away. Thanks!

Hi Harriet, my hope has returned! I need to know though, what if my weight is all over and it's been since I was young. Will this still work? Thank you so much Lily

I have been diagnosed as having Pre-Diabetes or Syndrome X, thankfully I am controlling my blood sugars by diet alone, seeing you on Rachael Ray this morning, left me alittle confused between the two "syndromes" as they are both linked to diabetes, could you clarify the difference between them.

Hi Harriette,
I caught only a small portion of your interview. Congratulations! I am 47 and only weigh 125. I have been thin, actually very fit my entire life but have always carried my weight in my abdomen. Though, it is becoming more pronounced as I age. Can there be any correlation?

Thank you for about 5 years now I have been asking Dr.'s what is wrong with me. I look like I am pregnant & not feeling right. This condition also played a part in me loosing my job of 23 yr. as a UPS driver. I plan on going to my new Dr. and start on the wright diet. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hi Harriette, I was in shock when I watched Rachel's show today. I stayed home from work because of a migraine. I am so thankful I was able to catch this information. I have a family history of diabetes. I check my sugar level a few times a week and they are normal in the low 80's. I look like I am pregrant. I've been on almost every diet there is and can't lose the stomach.I've been on strict exercise programs as well.. Still the muffin top! My grandmother also was a petite woman as I am and had the same figure. I want to thank Rachel for having you on her show and you for opening my eyes to a new life. I am going to make an appointment with my Dr. and start your diet.
Thank you again,
Sheri

My God, I saw you on Rachael and it felt like you were describing me. I have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and my internist prescribed me Metfomin 500. I wonder if there are doctors here in Puerto Rico that know about this syndrome, I really need help. My weight just skyrocketed in the last years and there seems that nothing works......Hate my belly, really do. And you feel so bad, because everybody tells you, you don't look so fat, is your belly, you just can imagine how that feels. Now I know that I'm not lazy or anything...Thank you for that.....

Wow what a show today on Rachel Ray... The first doctor talking about Sepsis. I almost died from Sepsis 6 yrs ago on life support. It was a miracle I lived through it and in the Hospital 2 months. The girl that talked today was me exactly the worst thing I have ever been through and believe me with Lupus most of my life (I was 16yrs) when they diagnosed me with it. Thank you so much for having Dr.Mogul, talking about me again Syndrome W. Can't wait to finally tell my Drs. I have diagnosed myself with the help of you. Thankyou so very much and Rachel for having her on your very interesting show today.

I am grateful for the info shared from Dr.Mogul but as I have been so excited before hopefully finding a fixable cause forgive me for holding my breath. I do plan to give the diet my all. I am 62 and there's a young girl in here somewhere. Thanks! wink

I am so thankful that I watched the show today! I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and prescribed metformin. I got so many calls from my insurance and others trying to sell me things for diabetes. My blood test was normal, but my 2 hour glucose test wasn't. I had NO IDEA there was a diet to pair with the treatment, THANK YOU THANK YOU! This could be the beginning of finally losing my midlife belly!

I was wondering, does this diet works even if you don't have the issue talked about on the show? I'm desperately looking to loose some baby weight

WoW, The before picture looked just like me. I need to buy the book and also speak with my physician. I have been trying to loose weight around my middle and nothing seems to work. I worry about the fat around my middle because Diabetes and Heart disease runs in my family. LS-St.Paul,Mn

I was so fortunate to be watching Rachel Ray's show the day Syndrone W was discussed. You would have thought you were talking about me. I have this huge mid section and when losing any weight, nothing from the stomach area. I have been dignosed with Type 2 diabetes and have been on medication. I check my blood sugar several times a day and cannot get the numbers down as my doctor would like to see. I'm sure what I eat and when I eat is causing most of the problems. I'm hoping your book will help me select the right foods and the right portions so I can see if this will help. My doctor keeps saying lose weight. In the past, I've tried so many diets, which is one of the reasons I'm so overweight. Lose 10 pounds, gain 20. Lose 20 pounds, gain 40. I'm hoping your book will give more details about food selection and portions to help me implement the "pyramid".
